Eagles Draft Preview: The Three Positions They Absolutely Cannot Miss On

The Eagles don’t rebuild. They reload. And the draft is where reloading starts.

This year, Howie Roseman enters the draft room with a specific mandate: address the secondary, find edge rusher depth, and for the love of everything green, do not take another developmental quarterback in the first three rounds.

The cornerback situation is the most urgent. They’ve been getting away with a patchwork secondary for a season and a half and the league is catching up. The pass rush needs a complement to whoever’s lined up opposite the featured piece. And the linebacker depth is quietly one of the worst in the conference.

Here are the three positions the Eagles absolutely cannot miss on — and the prospects at each spot who make the most sense given their draft capital.
